Adult Ballet Classes in East London

Fun & Friendly Ballet Dance Lessons in Stratford, Hackney Wick, Bow & Hackney.

Beginners and reconnectors welcome!

Get moving, make new friends & have FUN

Ballet Classes at Adore Dance London are focused on the FUN & SOCIAL side of dance, whilst still maintaining top tuition with expert teachers; overseen by world professional Ballet dancer Connor Taylor.

The amazing teaching team are breaking down many of the elitist & strict stereotypes surrounding dance, especially Ballet, with dance classes for adults that you’ll both enjoy and learn from. You’ll be with the same people in the class each week so you can get to know each other and work on routines together, and maybe kindle some new friendships; we see many students meeting for coffee before class or walking home together.

Our Adult Ballet lessons & courses are suitable for those brand new to dance having never danced before, those who might be reconnecting with dance after several years or since being a child, as well as, intermediate & advanced dancers.

Ballet is the foundation of almost all other dance styles so it’s the best place the start and our most popular class!

  • Beginner - You’re brand new to dance in general –or– you've had several years away from dance (even back as a child) and prefer a more gentle re-introduction.

  • Beginner Plus - You've done a Beginner class for 6+ months within the last few years –or– you danced to a high standard as a child and remember bits & bobs

  • Improver - You've danced 6-12months as a beginner within the last few years and you're ready for a faster pace

  • Intermediate - You’ve danced recently for 1-2yrs as an improver/intermediate dancer

  • Advanced - You’ve danced at an intermediate level for 2yrs+ and are ready for a step-up –or– you're a former professional dancer looking to get back into dance at a higher level

  • Professional - You're a professional dancer looking to take class from leading UK teachers

  • Teacher Training - You’re looking to take the next step and gain IDTA teaching qualifications

If you have any doubts about what level to come in at, get in touch –or– book in for our Beginner Class and the teacher will be able to help you choose which level would suit you best moving forward.

To take your Ballet to the next level, we recommend also trying Contemporary to focus on expressing & releasing through dance with similar steps to ballet, and also Barre Fitness to strengthen the muscles used during Ballet class.

What To Expect

The main objective of our classes is first and foremost enjoyment, but over the weeks of latin & ballroom dance lessons you can expect:

  • Guidance, feedback and support from your professional, qualified teacher (same teacher each week)

  • Explore dance movements & start to understand latin & ballroom dance vocabulary

  • Learn & develop the basic steps & techniques of dance

  • Focus on improving coordination, balance, pose and strength

  • Work on routines together with like-minded dancers each week
