Encouraging Boys into the World of Dance by creating Community, Camaraderie & Representation

"Dance was my escape, my sanctuary, and my joy as a child. It gave me a place to be myself, to express my creativity, and to feel loved and accepted. I'm so grateful for the gift of dance, and now, I'm passionate about sharing that gift with others."
— Connor Taylor, Principal, Adore Dance London

At Adore Dance London, we believe that dance is for everyone, and that includes boys! We offer dedicated boys dance classes designed to foster a strong sense of community, camaraderie, and representation.

Even for younger boys who may not yet fully grasp the concept of gender, surrounding themselves with other boys who love to dance is incredibly important. It allows them to see themselves reflected in their peers, breaking down stereotypes and creating a space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves freely. This early exposure to a supportive dance community lays the foundation for a lifelong love of dance, regardless of their future goals.

Our classes, led by the world professional dancer Connor Taylor, provide a fun and encouraging environment where boys can learn, grow, and build lasting friendships with like-minded peers. They'll not only develop essential skills like coordination, balance, and rhythm, but also gain valuable confidence and self-esteem through the joy of movement.

What to expect in a boys dance class

Our boys dance classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while also teaching boys the basics of dance. In each class, boys will participate in a variety of activities, including:

  • Warm-up exercises

  • Stretching exercises

  • Dance drills and combinations

  • Choreography

  • Creative movement activities

Our classes are suitable for all levels of experience, from beginners to experienced dancers. And, no matter what their skill level, all boys are encouraged to participate and have fun.
